Position Overview
Professional Search Group(PSG) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented senior accountant to join our client's dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving continuous improvement in processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
