Summary
Keeps records of financial transactions for establishment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, which are daily banking activities that require a high level of accuracy.
- Manage general accounting ledgers, record journal entries, and generate financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other items pertinent to the operation of business.
- Record and track accounts payable.
- Generate invoices and receive payments from clients.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and reports.
- Reconcile and balance accounts.
- Track specific costs associated with each project or job allowing profitability analysis.
- Provide detailed plan for expected income and expenses for a specific time.
- Use historical data to estimate revenue, expenses and cash flow.
- Provide support for audits as necessary.
- Assist with payroll processing, reporting and imports into QuickBooks.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be technology savvy, have working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software; ADP Payroll systems; Excel Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and Outlook/O365.
