Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute Geotechnical project assignments, which encompass field exploration, laboratory analysis, engineering evaluation, and report preparation.
- Provide comprehensive quality control reviews for proposals and reports, ensuring operational excellence and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Actively engage in business development and marketing initiatives while establishing and nurturing client relationships.
- Mentor and train both senior and junior staff professionals, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Participate in relationship building with professional and technical organizations to enhance network opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills are vital.
- In-depth understanding of Geotechnical Engineering and related disciplines, alongside a strong capability to devise innovative and practical solutions tailored to client requirements.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Geotechnical Engineering with a focus on active project management is essential.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Tennessee, or the ability to obtain it within one year, is required.
- An Engineer in Training (E.I.T) certification is necessary.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory, with a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering being highly desirable.
