Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing. What are we looking for? The Senior Engineering Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing, (example : soil, concrete, etc.) project-specific observation, inspection duties and provide assessment data under general supervision. What you'll do :

• Utilize, read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and diagrams
• Use specific methods to observe site activities, perform tasks and give the interpretation of results
• Attend project meetings alone, without supervision, and communicate effectively with client and project teams Minimum Requirements & Qualifications :
• Must possess at least one of the following certifications : ACI : Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1; ICC : Soils, Concrete, Masonry, Commercial Building Inspector, Spray-applied Fireproofing; NICET II (geotechnical or construction, or construction material testing or soils); AWCI EIFS inspector; UL or FM firestop examination.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently.

Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
