JOB SUMMARY:
Our Recovery Specialist is responsible for providing case management services to adults with behavioral health problems and/or alcohol or drug issues. Wraparound services include finding resources to assist in stabilizing housing, securing employment, furthering education, connecting with follow-up treatment and other areas of need in the person's life.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE RECOVERY SPECIALIST:
- Conduct an assessment to evaluate both the strengths and needs of individual.
- Analyze situations, capabilities and problems to determine what services are required to meet the needs of the client.
- Address the basic needs of the client, in addition to any therapeutic intervention, to increase effectiveness on issues such as housing, energy assistance and job security.
- Formulate, implement, evaluate and revise goal oriented and strength-based treatment plan.
- Develop a crisis/safety plan for the client.
- Maintain weekly contact with client.
- Develop a support team of formal and informal supports, which will meet monthly to monitor progress of goals and services.
- Research new and unknown resources and utilize that knowledge of services/resources to assist the client and family in meeting their goals.
- Safely transport clients as needed.
LOCATION AND HOURS: Office located in Kenosha, WI. Hours are flexible and typical hours are Monday through Friday between the 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Some evening hours may be required for this position.
SALARY: $21.00 per hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Training:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related field.
- Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Experience:
- At minimum, two years of previous experience working with individuals with mental health and addiction issues.
