Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics and Information Technology Support Services. We are currently seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join our team of professionals in support of the DoD. The projected start date is February 2025.
The Business Operations Analyst position provides the personnel necessary to ensure that the program has the proper technical experience in place to effectively deliver results to the government client.
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Assist the program / project acquisition teams in the preparation, review, update, maintenance, routing, and approval of acquisition documentation.
- Assist with the development of documentation for the programs required to obtain Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA) compliance.
- Assist with the development and management of program baselines, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Support Risk Management processes including development of Plans, Assessments, Charts, and Reports; identify risks and update risk tracking tools (i.e., Risk Radar or Risk Recon); and attend Portfolio Risk Management Board meetings and related activities. Assist with development and management of Risk, Issues and Opportunities, using established tools and processes, and utilizing such processes while analyzing risks, impacts on programs / projects, and developing preventative and corrective actions to minimize identified risks.
- Support technical and management reviews while assessing impact on cost, schedule, and performance.
- Support preparation and updating of briefs as required (e.g., PMRs, Quad charts, cost-related briefings, Milestone Assessment Team (MAT) program reviews) and provide a draft briefing (for new briefings) and with recommended changes (for updates to briefings) via Track Changes five (5) business days prior to the due date for the briefing.
- Assist program / project officers in conducting market research by identifying potential vendor sources and drafting market research reports. Coordinate the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) with the Government Cost Analysis team using the results of market research to support procurements.
- Provide support primarily in planning, analyzing and / or evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives. The Contractor shall analyze and evaluate user requirements, functions, and activities being considered for conversion to contract actions. The Contractor shall develop life-cycle cost analyses of projects, perform cost benefit, or economic evaluations of current or future projects.
- Analyze new Department of Defense (DoD) regulations to determine impact on program operations and management. The Contractor shall identify or develop data required for use in the management and direction of projects. The Contractor shall research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations. The Contractor shall develop management and / or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology.
- For Public Safety Systems only : Develop metrics and measures to monitor and support integration activities and milestone events integrated with the Emergency Response Systems (ERS) Share Point Dashboard. Provide a Summary Report which illustrates areas for improvement of integration activities and events.
- Provide support to manage action items in the Government's designated tools to track action item due dates, distribute notifications before action items are due, and ensure due dates are met.
- Establish, implement, manage, and maintain action tracker tools to support requirements for the assigned Government organization.
- Provide calendar support, which involve activities such as : maintain up-to-date and accurate appointments, events, office, and conference and conference room calendars for the assigned Government office. The calendar shall show all events, major program and project due dates, and other activities as directed by the Government.
- Serve as the point of contact authorized to schedule and reserve assigned conference rooms in accordance with local procedures.
- Perform clerical duties, to include assisting with the successful management of the assigned Government organization, which involves activities such as : gathering inputs for data calls, drafting responses, and revising data call responses to be reviewed by Government leadership of the assigned Government organization.
- Coordinate meetings, notifying participants, providing agendas, directions, and arranging for appropriate equipment / services. The arrangements shall be made in accordance with the procedures and schedule set by the requestor.
- Provide support for mail-related functions, which involves activities such as : receiving, opening, reviewing, and routing mail, and preparing documents for distribution, including proper addressing and postage to support the assigned Government organization. Identifying mail accurately as either action or non-action, classified or unclassified and route to the correct individuals.
- Provide records management support, which involves activities such as : Collecting, organizing, filing, and retrieving documentation such as reports, correspondence, messages, meeting minutes, memos and other documentation filed in accordance with SECNAV Manual-5201.2 Records Management Program and local directives and procedures.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Work Environment : This job operates in both teleworking and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and operate office equipment.
Position type and expected hours of work : This is a full-time position. The work schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. with the core hours being 9 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m.
Travel : Travel may be required within and outside of the local area to support the task requirements such as attendance at meetings, demonstrations, and working group meetings.

Bachelor's degree
5 years of related experience
2 years of direct experience working acquisitions
Must be US Citizen, must be able to pass a background investigation per local law and regulations, and must be authorized to work in the U.S., must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Active DoD Security Clearance is preferred.
