The Job at a Glance : University Sports Publications, an industry leader in sports marketing and publishing, is seeking a talented editor / proofreader to join their art department team in their Central Islip location. We are always looking for individuals who are extremely outgoing, enthusiastic, and who can manage multiple priorities.

Compensation : We provide a professional environment with competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and performance. Our compensation is $40,000 per year. Additionally, we offer employee benefits which include : employer contributed medical premiums for both employee and dependents, Health Savings Account (HSA), and paid time off.
What We Are Looking For / Elements of the Job :
- Read and evaluate ad copy for grammatical and typographical errors.
- Compare proofs against original copy to identify errors or omissions.
- Evaluate the dimensions of ad elements such as images, text spacing and positioning to ensure they conform to set specifications.
