Responsibilities
- Workstation Setup:
- Assemble and configure workstations according to hospital standards and specifications.
- Install operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Configure network settings and connectivity.
- Test and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- PC Imaging:
- Create and maintain standardized PC images.
- Deploy images to new workstations efficiently.
- Troubleshoot image deployment issues.
- Hardware Installation:
- Install and configure network equipment, printers, and other peripherals.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software.
- Coordinate with other technical teams for network connectivity and infrastructure.
- Cable Management:
- Ensure proper cable organization and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Equipment Transportation:
- Transport computer equipment, peripherals, and supplies between hospital facilities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment movement.
- Equipment Handling:
- Box and unbox computer equipment and peripherals.
- Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software installations.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with construction teams, IT staff, and end-users to ensure project success.
- Provide technical support and assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Experience with PC imaging and deployment.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on computer troubleshooting experience.
