Job Title : Operating Room Terminal Clean Technician (Night Shift)
Shift : Monday - Thursday, 9 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Position Summary :
Join our client's team as a vital member of the Operating Room (OR) staff, responsible for ensuring a meticulously clean and prepared surgical environment. This role focuses on performing thorough terminal cleaning procedures, as well as supplying, stocking, assembling, and storing equipment and supplies. You will work independently during night shifts, requiring a high level of attention to detail and adherence to strict infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Terminal Cleaning Expertise :
- Perform comprehensive terminal cleaning of operating rooms according to AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) standards.
- Ensure all surfaces and equipment are thoroughly disinfected and prepared for subsequent procedures.
- Operational Support :
- Supply, stock, assemble, and store surgical equipment and supplies as needed.
- Transport equipment and supplies within the surgical department.
- Accurately scan and record equipment and supplies for inventory control and charge accuracy.
- Infection Control and Safety :
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of infection control practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any potential patient safety issues through the hospital's occurrence reporting system.
- Complete annual competency training, including infection control, MSDS, and OSHA standards.
- Quality and Service Excellence :
- Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives for core measure improvement, patient safety, and service excellence.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, fostering a positive impression.

- Required :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in terminal cleaning, preferably within an operating room setting.
