Sr Manager Telecom

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly manage and provide oversight to successfully service assigned clients or projects.
• Schedule engineering activities, including project assignments, site surveys, and job milestones.
• Schedule installation activities, including project assignments, installation start, and job milestones.
• Oversee and direct the work of at least two employees; responsible for employee discipline.

Essential Functions:

• Receive customer requests for quotes.
• Submit customer change orders as required.
• Re-quote projects based on changes that occur.
• Use discretion to develop and/or approve schedules, priorities, and standards for operational and financial goals.
• Use discretion to develop and implement techniques for evaluating operational and financial activity related to specific accounts or projects.
• Develop guidelines and procedures while monitoring compliance with existing policies and procedures.
• Interface with all levels of management in sales, operations, engineering, installation, and procurement services.
• Identify needed areas of change and implement improvements to operations.
• Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and seminars.

Requirements:

• 5 years of telecommunications experience, preferably in a fiber environment.
• 2 years of management experience.
• Customer-facing experience.
