Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and provide oversight to successfully service assigned clients or projects.
- Schedule engineering activities, including project assignments, site surveys, and job milestones.
- Schedule installation activities, including project assignments, installation start, and job milestones.
- Oversee and direct the work of at least two employees; responsible for employee discipline.
Essential Functions:
- Receive customer requests for quotes.
- Submit customer change orders as required.
- Re-quote projects based on changes that occur.
- Use discretion to develop and/or approve schedules, priorities, and standards for operational and financial goals.
- Use discretion to develop and implement techniques for evaluating operational and financial activity related to specific accounts or projects.
- Develop guidelines and procedures while monitoring compliance with existing policies and procedures.
- Interface with all levels of management in sales, operations, engineering, installation, and procurement services.
- Identify needed areas of change and implement improvements to operations.
- Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Requirements:
- 5 years of telecommunications experience, preferably in a fiber environment.
- 2 years of management experience.
- Customer-facing experience.
