In this role, you'll be responsible for meeting the total rehabilitation needs of patients, maintaining quality care in compliance with established guidelines, and serving as a leader in our clinic. Your expertise, leadership, and commitment to evidence-based practice will be instrumental in helping our patients achieve optimal outcomes.
Performance Responsibilities:
● Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based practice and current standards of care.
● Develop individualized care plans and adapt them as needed to meet patients' changing needs.
● Supervise and monitor patients' progress in physical therapy.
● Communicate effectively with referring physicians regarding patients' conditions, progress, and care plans.
● Input charges and maintain accurate patient charting in compliance with clinic protocols.
● Coordinate patient referrals and ensure timely communication with referring providers.
● Participate in providing learning experiences for physical therapy students during their clinical rotations.
Minimum Requirements:
● Bachelor's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE accredited program.
● Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
● Proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment methods.
● Knowledge of equipment use and limitations.
● Commitment to ongoing professional development, including obtaining 30 CEUs biannually.
● Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities.
● Ability to adapt treatments to individual patient needs and exercise judgment in clinical decision-making.
