Yard Attendant - GILBERT & Phoenix

We are currently seeking a dedicated Yard Attendant for our Gilbert and Phoenix locations. If you are a motivated, self-starter who enjoys working independently, this role might be perfect for you!

Position Overview: As a Yard Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our tow yards. Your responsibilities will include operating a forklift to reposition vehicles, assisting with clean-up efforts, and managing impound strategies. While this role primarily involves independent work, you will occasionally interact with customers, where you will provide excellent customer service.

Position Location:

• Phoenix - 3420 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85017
• Gilbert - 455 E Baseline Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85233

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the tow yard is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Operate a forklift to move vehicles within the yard (Forklift certification is a plus for the Phoenix location).
• Interact with drivers, assist with towing sheet documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and drivers at other locations as needed.
• Provide satisfactory customer service during occasional customer interactions.
• Only permit authorized personnel to enter the property, verifying their Government Issued Photo Identification and Proof of Ownership or other entry authorization documents.
• Perform janitorial duties, including picking up debris, trash, and vehicle parts within and outside the fence line.
• Maintain the ground surface to ensure safe movement throughout the storage facility, as required by police contracts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to maintain equipment and supply inventory.
• Forklift certification is a plus (for the Phoenix location).

Work Schedule:

• Yard hours: Monday - Friday: 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
• Weekly hours range from 32-40, with opportunities for additional hours based on the needs for extra coverage.
