What are the responsibilities and job description for the TMA Drivers and Sweeper Operators position at PROFESSIONAL TRAFFIC CONTROL?
Overview
We are a Sweeping Company who is Hiring 20 Employees for our new South Tarrant County Sweeping Project. We are hiring daytime and night time TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) and Sweeper drivers. Prior driving of a Box truck or similar type vehicle is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks including TMA, Sweeper or Pickup Trucks.
- Pick up roadway debris and load it onto vehicles.
- Execute route sweeping and debris daily. (NEED CREW LEADS)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Skills
- Excellent route planning skills to maximize efficiency in deliveries.
- Experience driving larger vehicles. Ex: Box truck, Flatbed.
- Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus on safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise on the roadways.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
