Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing quality assurance initiatives to drive improvements and efficiencies impacting certificate of insurance verifications, cargo damage recoveries, rate agreement confirmations, regulatory requirements, and customer standards for sub-haulers.

Job Summary
Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing quality assurance initiatives to drive improvements and efficiencies impacting certificate of insurance verifications, cargo damage recoveries, rate agreement confirmations, regulatory requirements, and customer standards for sub-haulers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of Quality Assurance team to ensure contractual and customer obligations are successfully met
- Evaluate and implement process improvement solutions to improve workflow efficiencies and reduce waste, waiting, extra processing, errors, motion, and non-utilized talent
- Coordinate with Brokerage, Dispatch, and third-party carriers to verify or amend system rates, invoice amounts, and/or rate agreements
- Collaborate with department and organizational leadership to develop and implement quality assurance and improvement standards
- Collaborate with IT team members to assess and enhance software solutions to improve data management, auditing, and reporting
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to define, analyze, measure, monitor, and report key performance measures
- Collaborate with Claims Management team members to review and assess third-party carrier performance
- Review and standardize quality control documentation and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance
- Develop and deliver carrier status reports to identify opportunities for improvement and support strategic decision-making
- Conduct performance management reviews and build profesional development goals with team members to identify opportunities for growth
- Monitor and manage quality-related events using VLMS/Magnus software to increase enterprise awareness of sub-hauler behaviors and compliance practices
- Oversee cargo claims recovery process and personnel to ensure timely reimbursement of cargo damages from sub-haulers
- Engage with third-party carriers to establish quality expectations and address non-compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve third-party carrier deactivation and/or breach of contract status
- Other duties as assigned
- High school education or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or quality assurance field preferred.

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
