Construction Framer

Job Overview
Proficient Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood framing and a strong understanding of construction processes. This is a new 4 story building that you will be framing. and other construction tasks that require precision and attention to detail. The Framer will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure that structures are built safely and effectively.

Duties

• Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and siding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
• Perform wood framing as required for specific projects.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations on the construction site.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and contractors, to ensure project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in framing or related construction fields, with a strong understanding of remodeling techniques.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Familiarity with metal stud or wood framing practices is a plus.
• Experience working with various materials such as wood, metal, and stucco.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks on construction sites for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus opportunities

Ability to Relocate:
