Overview
Proficy Digital is the leading omni-channel marketing agency specializing in the automotive industry. Proficy empowers OEM clients and franchised dealerships to seamlessly integrate a multichannel platform, driving profitability and illuminating consumer trends.
The Vice President of Sales at Proficy Digital is responsible for taking the company’s omni-channel solution to the marketplace. This person will be called upon to work closely with leadership to most effectively communicate the value proposition directly to prospective clients to make sales, drive growth and help the organization hit its goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the marketing and sales plans, strategies, and budget aligned with corporate goals developed in partnership with the CEO and management team.
- As a proven sales leader with strong strategic data and analytical skills, deliver all plans and frameworks to ensure the company’s effectiveness with customer acquisition and retention programs.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s value proposition, technology, processes, and offerings, and be able to effectively communicate these to others.
- Attract, assess, hire and develop top-performing sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline with a focus on deal quality, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with account/consulting team for successful on-boarding of new clients to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with the to better understand their business objectives and future needs.
- Travel is required, targeted at 50%.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate and/or graduate degree in marketing, or a related field is preferred; a secondary degree in business, communications or similar will be strongly considered.
- At least ten years of sales or sales management experience required, with at least five years of that in the automotive industry. Strong relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Charismatic and dynamic leader with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- A highly effective administrator with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills. This person knows how to treat the customer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- A story teller, that can take complicated concepts and boil them down in a way that’s easy to understand and compelling to the audience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
