Job Summary:
As a Moulder Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining moulding machines to produce high-quality wood components according to precise specifications. Your role is key in ensuring smooth workflow and consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate moulder machines (e.g., Weinig, SCM, etc.) for various profiles and dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment.
- Monitor machine operation to detect issues and make necessary corrections.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience operating moulders in a wood shop environment.
- Strong understanding of wood species and machining characteristics.
- Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure) with precision.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
