The ideal candidate will have superior leadership skills and the ability to coach employees and drive initiatives in an expanding business.
Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly financial statements and operational reports
- Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, payroll, benefits administration, IT and in-house accounting
- Lead quarterly and annual business planning initiatives
- Monitor cash flow
- Prepare project proformas to assist Division Manager in purchase decisions
- Review contract documentation and work with Corporate Attorney to manage and minimize risk
- Trust management and reports for the owners on personal financials
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with financial covenants and other lender requirements
- Work with CPA firm on tax planning and filing taxes returns in a timely manner
- Mentor and train colleagues on accounting processes and efficiencies
- Work closely with ownership and management personnel
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial partners
- Work with owners and outside consultants on trust management
- Ability to effectively communicate

Qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred, but not required
- CPA required
- Construction or job costing experience highly preferred
- JD Edwards accounting system experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Ability to take initiative and operate with minimal supervision
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
Salary : $140,000 - $153,000
