Salesforce Email Designer/Developer

A Fortune 200 financial organization is looking for a detail-oriented Salesforce Email Designer/Developer near Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid remote, 6-month contract where individuals will be required to work up to 2 days on-site and 3 days remotely. (possibly open to remote talent)

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Salesforce, HTML, and CSS, coupled with a keen eye for design and an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Salesforce Email Designer/Developer Requirements:

• 5 years of experience of employment experience creating email templates with responsive HTML and CSS code for email development.
• Extensive knowledge of email-specific coding best practices and the ability to troubleshoot rendering issues across various email clients and devices.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, required
• Extensive experience using tools such as Litmus Builder and Movable Ink to test and optimize emails for deliverability, accessibility, and performance.
• Conduct A/B testing, analyze results, and make data-driven decisions to improve email effectiveness.
• A strong understanding of design principles, user experience (UX), and interaction design as they pertain to email.
• Create visually appealing emails that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
• Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, Responsive Design, Figma, Dreamweaver, Movable Ink, Litmus Builder, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Salesforce Email Designer/Developer Responsibilities:

• Create and develop responsive HTML email templates, ensuring they meet email coding best practices and are optimized for various devices and email clients.
• Create visual mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite to illustrate design concepts and workflows.
• Conduct thorough testing of email templates to ensure compatibility across various email clients and devices, identifying and fixing bugs or rendering issues.
• Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize email performance, analyze results, and apply insights to future email designs and campaigns.
• Maintain detailed documentation of email templates, coding standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Partner with internal creative teams or external agencies to design and develop email templates that reflect our brand and meet business objectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, email marketing best practices, and emerging technologies. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of email campaigns.
