Profit Wise is a growing Accounting firm in Huntsville Al. We are looking for a qualified Payroll Specialist with experience with Thomson Reuters / Accounting CS Software and Multi State processing payroll is a must
Qualifications for the position: be a team player, ability multi-task, show initiative, prioritize work, analysis and make good decisions, shared responsibility for payroll for 30 clients.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Process Payroll Quarterly Reports
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
- Experience with high volume multi-state payroll
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Answer questions and requests related to payroll information
- Workmans Comp Audits
- Perform review and verification of source documents
- Other duties as assigned
- Facilitate company compliance according to federal and state regulations and guidelines
