Job Title: Power BI Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop data models, and ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business needs and provide actionable insights.
- Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop, including relationships, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and calculated measures.
- Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), APIs, and other systems.
- Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- ETL Processes: Collaborate with data engineers to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize dashboards and reports for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct testing, validation, and debugging of Power BI solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power BI tools and interpret reports effectively.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization techniques.
- Data Knowledge: Strong understanding of data warehousing, relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), and ETL processes.
- Programming Skills: Experience with SQL; knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into meaningful business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Optional): Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar Power BI-related certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or other Microsoft Azure services.
- Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics or machine learning integration with Power BI.

Salary Range:
- $80,000 Plus Bonuses.
