Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand client needs and challenges, delivering customized solutions that capitalize on ProFlow's product portfolio.
Sales Growth:
- Discover new business opportunities within current accounts while actively prospecting for new clients in assigned territories.
- Consistently meet or surpass sales goals through strategic planning and the application of effective sales strategies.
Market Intelligence:
- Collect and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide product development and refine marketing strategies.
- Remain informed on industry advancements while continuously enhancing product knowledge and sales expertise
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and inside sales, to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and accurately.
- Partner with the marketing team for promotional activities, trade shows, and sales campaigns
Technical Expertise:
- Offer technical support and guidance to customers on product applications, troubleshooting, and maintenance to improve knowledge and effective use of ProFlow products.
Travel requirement:
- Up to 50% travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A technical background is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus on industrial rotating equipment, pumps, mechanical seals, or related industries.
- Knowledge of industrial pumps, applications, and related products.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and expanding market share.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp and understand complex products.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to establish and sustain relationships with customers at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and thrives in an independent work environment.
