TITLE: Full Stack Developer (Magento/PHP/SQL)
LOCATION: Northeast Portland, Oregon (primarily on-site with light remote work available)
PAY: Target pay for this role is $130-160K but may vary based on experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Join a passionate team dedicated to upgrading and optimizing three high-volume eCommerce websites from Magento 1.9x to Magento 2. You’ll work on both the back-end and front-end of web applications, ensuring they deliver an exceptional user experience while leveraging APIs and scalable technologies. You’ll collaborate on project planning, design reviews, and server optimizations to meet evolving customer and business needs.
Overview of responsibilities
- Upgrade existing eCommerce websites to Magento 2 and enhance user experiences.
- Build and maintain back-end and front-end code for new and existing web applications.
- Optimize server configurations and refactor application code to improve performance.
- Collaborate on project planning and design reviews to deliver impactful solutions.
- Work with APIs, implement unit testing, and utilize version control tools like Git or SVN.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented developer with a passion for creating engaging and interactive eCommerce solutions. Ideal candidates are collaborative problem-solvers with a proven track record in Magento development and a strong technical foundation.
Must-Haves:
- 3 years of Magento 1.9 or Magento 2 development experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Knowledge of eCommerce UX design and theming/styling with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- Experience with APIs and version control tools like Git or SVN.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Zend Framework or similar PHP frameworks.
- Unit testing/API testing experience.
- Knowledge of other eCommerce platforms.
