Job Summary
The role of Branch Manager at Proforce is all about leading a team and managing the day to day operations of the branch. The essential function of the Proforce Branch Manager: recruiting, training, monitoring, working with, and developing people. The importance of leadership in this role cannot be overstated. The primary goal of this specific role is to drive service quality while simultaneously allowing us to become more efficient and profitable as a company.
Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage and distribute supplies and equipment (supplies should be provided on an as needed basis).
- Ensure that there is always availability for sales.
- Contact customers and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
- Drive and reinforce service ticket standards as part of the customer experience.
- Work with customers to resolve issues.
- Develops the team by actively supporting the learning and development of new skills.
- Establishes an environment conducive to collaboration and teamwork and create a culture of excellence and longevity.
- Oversees team operations, answering questions and recommending corrective services to address customer concerns and team member performance.
- Leadership development
- Regularly perform field assessments of Service Pros and document assessment using the Field Assessment Form.
- Create a culture of safety within the team.
- Understand and train on all Proforce safety programs.
- Demonstrates an expert knowledge of ProForce’ss business and product offering.
- Focuses on quality and efficiency; providing suggestions for process improvements.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Manage office, if assigned.
- Hold inspections of product and equipment storage.
- Monitor route efficiency and make adjustments (including coaching and disciplinary action).
- Monitor overall payroll, overtime, & headcount.
- Maintains appropriate staffing by interviewing and selecting those who are competent, high-potential, best in class candidates. Matches individuals to jobs and promotes growth of the team members by providing stretch opportunities.
- Accomplishes results by conducting one to one coaching, training, and follow-up to optimize service and sales.
- D2D Sales: Monitor sales and work with Area Sales Managers.
- Monitor NPS and directly contact detractors and other negative feedback customers.
- Analyze NPS at a Service Pro level to identify strengths, weaknesses, and coaching opportunities.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three - five years related experience and/or training preferably in the residential market; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications
3 years in a leadership capacity.
2 Years of Pest Control Manager/Branch Manager experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be 21 to operate company vehicles)
Ability to obtain and maintain state-required pest control licenses
Strong social acumen, focusing on people management, relationship development, front line training and/or excellent customer experience.
Experience in analyzing operational reports, in a complex, fast paced environment.
Experience in recognizing changing business needs and developing corresponding changes in approach and processes.
Technical Expertise: Having a solid understanding of the pest control field and the technical aspects of the job being performed by front-line employees. Branch Managers must understand protocols, application techniques, products, equipment and other tools that are used on a day to day basis so they can train and coach to a high standard.
Safety, Risk Assessment, and Compliance: Understands relevant regulatory requirements, risk assessment methodologies, safety programs, and compliance standards.
Language Skills
Fluency in the English language is required.
