Job Title: Performance Specialist/Strength and Conditioning Coach

Department: ProForce Sports Performance

Position Summary: Responsible for the development and implementation of physical conditioning training programs for athletes and adults in all sports, all ages, and all levels. As well as directing, marketing, and selling all programs at ProForce Sports Performance.

ProForce is proud to have a team of leading partners committed to supporting human performance. ProForce currently supports two professional teams in Cincinnati (Cyclones and Y'alls). We are also one of the Midwest's only training facilities to have the 1080 Sprint and Proteus technology.

Position Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including facilities and maintenance

· Perform assessments, determine exercise prescriptions, and design workout programs for a diverse population including but not limited to developing training programs and implementing strength and speed/agility training

· Provide consulting, training, and motivation to clients

· Provide off-site training support for local High Schools and Club Teams as needed.

· Demonstrated high energy, charismatic training approach

· Demonstrated experience motivating, inspiring, and training middle and high school student-athletes

· Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

· Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Hours are set per semester and vary depending on needs.

*Semester is defined as:

· Spring – March to May

· Summer – Late May to September

· Winter - September to March

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

· Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, health, physical education or related field

· Previous experience as a performance specialist in strength and conditioning

· Demonstrated experience inspiring, motivating, and improving the performance of all youth student-athletes

· Proficiency in writing training programs for athletes of all ages in various sports.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with colleagues, sport coaches, and athletes

· Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects

· A superior work ethic

· Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences

· Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization

· CSCS or PES certification or equivalent

· A willingness to learn and continue to learn

Preferred Skills

· Experience playing, coaching, or managing

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs.

· Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.

· Must be able to move around and drive from location to location

· Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
