We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive with expertise in capital equipment sales and a strong interest in scientific technologies, particularly freeze-dry technology. This role requires a proven ability to drive revenue growth, establish meaningful client relationships, and navigate complex sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual revenue targets and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, analyzing customer financials to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Tailor sales strategies to align with customer goals and industry trends, ensuring a personalized approach to driving value.
  • Partner with marketing, production, and operations teams to ensure sales efforts align with company objectives.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

  • Generate leads through multiple channels, leveraging knowledge of freeze-dry technology and capital equipment sales.
  • Qualify leads, develop tailored proposals, and convert opportunities into successful deals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline with precision, providing accurate forecasts and updates to stakeholders.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering customized solutions.
  • Conduct impactful client presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close sales effectively.
  • Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Foster long-term partnerships by providing ongoing support, education, and value beyond the initial sale.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Engage in team-selling by collaborating with colleagues and the EVP of Sales to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to the broader team.
  • Collaborate with service, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure smooth post-sale implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented sales culture.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, analyzing performance metrics, pipeline health, and market dynamics.
  • Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activity, and streamline workflow.

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • This position may include additional duties that align with the overall scope of the role and contribute to the continued success of the department. These tasks are designed to support evolving business needs and provide opportunities for skill development and professional growth. 

 

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in sales, particularly in manufacturing and capital equipment industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles, particularly in B2B environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems to manage leads, track sales activity, and generate reports.
  • International sales experience or familiarity with diverse cultural and regulatory environments is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the freeze-dry process and its scientific applications.
  • Expertise in sales techniques, including prospecting, negotiation, closing, and contract review.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate customer financials and tailor solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Creative problem-solving and deal-making abilities to meet diverse client needs.
  • Occasional travel will be required.
