What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications & Copywriter Specialist position at Proforma?
We are seeking a Communications & Copywriter Specialist in a critical role on our Brand Team. This individual will work with the Brand Leadership to craft messages that connect and inform our audiences in a way that drives meaningful action. You will make significant contributions in social media, editorial, advertising, public relations, and promotional copy creation and editing. Create compelling content that will be shared through many mediums with an audience-centric approach to all content.
Responsibilities
- White Papers and Blogs: Write creative copy as it pertains to the company blog and social media channels.
- Website Content: Develop creative copy as it pertains to Distributor websites, Company websites, and company content library for Distributor use.
- Public Relations: Creation of content and communications utilized as part of the various public relations efforts including press releases, award submissions, etc.
- Video Development and Deployment: Creation of material content utilized in internal video projects such as product highlights and various internal interviews
- Campaign Copywriting: Writing and editing of print and digital campaign content including catalogs, email communications, social media, blogs, etc.
- Maintain Brand Style Guide: Creation of all content within the company’s Published Brand Communications Guide and ensure brand consistency and writing standards are integrated through all communications.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s in journalism, Creative Writing, English, Communications, or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in copywriting or communications
- Experience in promotional products or print industry is a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Extremely strong grammar and spelling skills
- Demonstrated experience with well written content across a wide variety of subjects conveying a central theme or message.
- General marketing campaign working knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of AP Press Release guidelines a plus
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
