ProFound Staffing is working with a growing industrial company located in Willis, Texas searching for an IT Director to lead a small team through growth and IT infrastructure initiatives. This is a hands-on position for someone who can take ownership of the IT department and be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all IT systems, including applications and infrastructure. Candidate should have a broad background in IT management to include network/systems engineering and architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, data management, project management and leadership. This position will need to have the technical background and the ability to drive technological advancement that supports the company’s business objectives.

  • Unable to work with third-party vendors or Consultants on a C2C basis
  • Unable to provide relocation assistance


Work Schedule:

This is an onsite position in Willis, Texas.


Ideal Candidate:

  • 10 years of experience in IT management.
  • 3 years of experience in leadership and team management.
  • Hands-on technical experience in network/systems engineering and architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, data management, and project management.
  • Hands-on functional experience gathering and translating requirements from users, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to work with outside vendors and consultants.
  • Ability to resolve technical problems.
  • Someone that can work in a small team environment and take ownership of the IT department.
  • Proven experience in executing project initiatives.
  • Excellent command of the English language – speak, read and write.
  • Get-it-done personality and implementor.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Relevant certifications: ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or other is a plus.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization’s goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify technology needs and ensure the efficient use of IT resources.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse IT team. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and innovation.

Infrastructure Oversight: Manage and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services. Ensure system reliability, performance, and security.

Project Management: Oversee IT projects from conception to completion. Utilize best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Cybersecurity: Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and infrastructure. Stay current on emerging threats and industry trends.

Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost effective and efficient solutions.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and cost control.

Policy Development: Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

User Support: Enhance user experience by ensuring effective IT support services are in place, addressing issues in a timely manner.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction.

Salary : $160,000 - $170,000
