Profound Treatment is seeking a full time Behavioral Health Technician/Driver for its residential detox program. The Behavioral Health Technician will help facilitate clients through their day and evening programming schedules in a detox/residential substance abuse treatment setting. This position would be great for someone looking to pick up extra shifts or just part time work. They would be the first in line for full time positions when they become available or can stay as on call or weekend.Qualifications: Detox experience in the residential settingKnowledge of COWS and CIWA assessments and detox medication procedures preferredStrong knowledge of recovery and 12 step programsA desire to help people change their livesExcellent communication skillsThe ability to take direction and follow through will all assigned tasks.Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally.Have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.**Must be registered with CCAPP, CAADE, or CADTPDuties and Responsibilities: Medication observation, counts, and documentation in KIPUConduct and document client rounds/observationsComplete new admission intake procedures according to program policies on all new admissions (UA, belongings searches, and paperwork)Work directly with the Program Director to ensure that clients are stable, comfortable and progressing through their detox appropriatelyCompose shift notesClean up the house after the clients retire for the eveningClean rooms after a client dischargesOther tasks as assigned
