Job Summary
Profound Treatment is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Director to oversee our residential programs in the field of addiction treatment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will report directly to the Program Director and ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical treatment services using industry best practices. Qualifications
- Licensed MFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psy.D.
- Minimum of three years of full-time experience in a program treating clients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with electronic health record systems (Kipu, ZenCharts).
- Strong knowledge of DHCS, Joint Commission, and various insurance standards.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
- Ability to abide by HIPAA and HIPAA Privacy Rule and 42 CFR, Part 2.
- Excellent writing, reading, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.
- Commitment to continuing personal and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze the strengths, needs, and outcomes of the clinical program to determine its effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Educate, supervise, and train Associate (license-eligible) staff members.
- Maintain competency and understanding of all contracts, license, and certification requirements, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
- Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and training to staff members individually and in groups.
- Coordinate in-service training programs for all staff in collaboration with the Program Director, ensuring compliance with contract and licensure/certification requirements.
- Participate in the selection and hiring of clinical staff members.
- Develop and oversee the clinical program schedule.
- Ensure the use of appropriate, evidence-based curricula and materials within all clinical groups.
- Assess groups through direct observation and feedback, modifying group topics and goals as needed.
- Facilitate weekly treatment team meetings.
- Assist staff with Utilization Review documentation for submission to managed care providers.
- Conduct chart audits and observational group evaluations to ensure quality clinical service delivery.
- Assist with intake processes, including diagnosis and completion of bio/psycho/social assessments and Suicide Risk Assessments.
- Provide clinical coverage and be available for after-hours emergencies.
