Job Summary:
Profound Treatment is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician Lead for our residential detox program. You'll support clients and team members through their daily and evening schedules in a detox/residential substance abuse treatment setting. This role may accommodate those seeking full time, evenings, and on-call opportunities are also available.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist clients with performing daily living activities, ensuring strict adherence to individualized treatment plans. Offer emotional support to encourage independence.
· Stay updated with the latest practices by attending workshops and training sessions.
· Participate in meetings and communicate regularly with supervisors and peers.
· Engage professionally with visitors, family members, and care providers.
· Organize and oversee events, activities, and outings, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
· Manage inventory and maintain supplies, facilities, and equipment.
· Perform cleaning tasks to keep the environment hygienic and orderly.
· Maintain confidentiality and interact with clients responsibly and ethically.
· Safely transport residents to appointments, group sessions, and other activities.
· Take on other tasks as needed to support the facility and team members.
Qualifications:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to teach clients daily living skills.
· Strong observational and decision-making abilities.
· Understanding of substance abuse and addiction issues or relevant experience.
· Ability to lead and motivate others.
Experience:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a detox facility or 3 years in a lead role in healthcare.
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent. AA preferred.
· Certifications: RADT, RAC, or SUDRC certifications.
