What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sandblast/Washbay Technician & PT Driver position at ProFrac Services?
Position Summary: The Wash Bay/Sand Blast Technician responsibilities include safely using sand blasters, parts washers, high pressure power washer and assist NDT Lead in preparing equipment for testing. This position will also support our driving crew and must have valid CDL or ability to obtain a CDL.

- Properly clean and sandblast parts and equipment in preparation for repair and rebuilding, must be done to FHE quality expectations.
- Follow policies & procedures, with proper training and comprehension.
- Be aware of the efficiency of job progress, prioritize task to meet deadlines.
- Maintain open communication with NDT Lead.
- Perform regular maintenance on inside & outside sandblasters; repair as needed.
- Regularly inspect mechanical tools such as pressure washer and parts washer.
- Monitor all tools used within the department.
- Conduct a minimum of bi-monthly cleanings & maintenance on the drain.
- Review equipment description for accuracy (Job Board/CORE).
- Manage pallet tag to ensure accuracy before and after Wash Bay/Sand Blast operations.
- Drive FHE Trucks to deliver or pick up equipment, parts, etc.
- Any other duties or tasks as assigned, based on business needs and the manager(s) request.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Clear driving record. CDL preferred.
- Vocational training or job-related course work is preferred.
- Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment, parts or warehouse activities preferred.
- Knowledge and skills used to help others required.
- Sensitive to confidential information.
- Must work independently and as a member of team.
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Communication – verbal and written communication.
- Climbing - able to go up and down stairs
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week dependent on workload.
