What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Parts Clerk position at ProFrac?
Position Summary: Responsible for incoming parts and delivery to appropriate destinations. Responsibilities include charging out parts to proper units and maintaining inventory, security and integrity of parts department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise other parts clerks.
- Develop work schedule for other parts clerks for a 24 hour operation.
- Assign duties to parts clerks on daily basis.
- Handle and resolves more complex issues.
- Receive, unpacks and counts stock items, and records data manually or electronically.
- Retrieve stocked items or parts, packs items and delivers to designated recipients.
- Maintain inventory levels; assists in maintaining inventory control.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in parts department, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Communicate inventory levels and related matters with other departments.
- Maintain integrity of parts room and related secured areas.
- Ensure that all movement of inventory is properly tracked through purchase, receipt and issuance to work order(s).
- Responsible for the timely and accuracy of inventory physical counts.
- Responsible for keeping costs under control by ensuring inventory is not stolen, destroyed, lost of counted incorrectly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Educational and Other Requirements:
- Basic education, reading, writing and math skills needed to perform responsibilities.
- Three to five years experience in a warehouse type inventory management, or equivalent knowledge, skills and training required.
- Prior computer experience receiving and issuing inventory required.
- Superior organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
- General knowledge of state and federal regulations for storing stock.
- General knowledge of machinery, equipment, parts or warehouse activities preferred.
- General knowledge and skills used to help others required.
- Sensitive to confidential information.
- Must work independently and as a member of team.
Mental and Physical Requirements:
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Communication – verbal and written communication.
- Climbing - able to go up and down stairs
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week with frequent extended hours as business needs dictate.
- Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.

- Uses computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, or process information.
