Job Title: EMD Diesel Mechanic
Location:Mulberry and Lakeland, Florida
Key Responsibilities:
- Remanufacture EMD engines and rebuild components at our facilities in Lakeland and Mulberry, Florida.
- Conduct load testing to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in continuous EMD engine training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience with EMD 645 and/or 710 engines.
- Experience with remanufacturing of EMD engine block and pan assemblies, including line boring and block machining.
- Engine timing and rebuilds.
- Parts cleaning and remanufacturing processes.
- Component rebuilding of water pumps, oil pumps, cylinder heads, pistons, rods, gears, drives, etc.
- Power pack assembly (new or remanufactured).
- Field services and load testing for EMD engines.
