What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Generation Equipment Mechanic position at Progen Industries?
Key Qualifications
- Candidates should have prior experience with the following:
- Assembly of EMD 645 and/or 710 engines
- Remanufacturing of EMD engine block and pan assemblies, including line boring and block machining.
- Engine timing and rebuilds.
- Experience with parts cleaning and remanufacturing processes.
- Component rebuilding of water pumps, oil pumps, cylinder heads, pistons, rods, gears, drives, etc.
- Power pack assembly (new or remanufactured).
- Field services and load testing for EMD engines.
