JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiac Sonographer candidates will have the following job responsibilities :
- Cardiac sonographers, also known as echocardiographers, are healthcare professionals specially trained to use imaging technology to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.
- They operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and its chambers.

Cardiac Sonographer candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications :
Education Requirements :
Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field within 3 months of hire, OR
Completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire.
Licensure / Certification Requirements :
Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire. Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
Compensation : $27-48 / hour
Salary : $27 - $48
