All Echo Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities :
- Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as outlined in policies and procedures of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, including but not limited to Duplex imaging and / or echocardiography.
- May be cross-trained into other areas in the department.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment, observation and documentation.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.
- Work is primarily independent.
