JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Echo Technologist

All Echo Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities :

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as outlined in policies and procedures of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, including but not limited to Duplex imaging and / or echocardiography.
• May be cross-trained into other areas in the department.
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment, observation and documentation.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.
• Work is primarily independent.
