Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Labor and Delivery Department will have the following job responsibilities:
- Initiates, guides, and directs the coordination of all Unit functions.
- Functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
- Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided by the unit.
- Makes decisions regarding activities within these areas based on Hospital Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, Department of Nursing Standards, collaborating with the Director in unusual situations.

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Labor and Delivery Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- 2 years of Recent Acute Care L&D RN leadership experience Required *Would like to see candidates with progressive leadership experience. * Would also entertain L&D RN's only if they have High Risk and Complex Experience
- BSN required; MSN or Master's Degree in related field preferred.
- Licensure/certification/registration:
- Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.
- National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire.
- BLS/ACLS as required
Salary Range: Minimum: $84,849.00- Mid: $106,059.00- $127,274.00 (Based on years of experience)
