Job Role
We are seeking a Director of Quality to join our team! The Director of Quality is responsible for the strategic development and maintenance of ProgenyHealth’s Quality Program. This includes leadership of the program, as well as associated staff. Additionally, this position oversees and conducts data collection, reporting, and monitoring for key performance measurement activities; and provides direction and implementation of NCQA and URAC accreditation surveys and Quality Improvement (QI) activities.
The Director of Quality will play a key role in implementing the culture and work environment that promotes and inspires an active, continuous improvement philosophy with regard to products and services in line with our company mission.
Requirements:Responsibilities will include:
· Oversee, plan, and implement new and existing healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
· Support provision of high-quality clinical care/services by facilitating and/or building strategic relationships within Clinical Operations.
· Provide the strategic direction for and facilitates NCQA/URAC accreditation surveys.
· Provide ongoing monitoring of accreditation entities for changes in standards and set expectation that this role will communicate with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with changes.
· Serve as subject matter expert and represents the ProgenyHealth Quality Program in internal and external meetings and discussions.
· Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to Executive Leadership.
· Serve as the chair for the internal Quality Improvement Committee (QIC).
· Responding to requests and fulfilling activities related to the clinical portions of external client audits.
Qualifications:
· College degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
· A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a management role with oversight of Quality required.
· Must have a working knowledge of NCQA and URAC Accreditation standards and processes.
· Minimum of five years in a managed care environment.
· Active RN license, in good standing.
· Current CPHQ Certification, preferred.
· Must be able to travel to client sites as needed.
· Must have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
· Must have proven track record of utilizing tact, diplomacy, and strategic thinking in addressing issues and changes in company policy, etc.
· Must be self-motivated and willing to learn multiple tasks.
· Must be well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
· Must demonstrate accuracy in spelling and documentation.
