Title: RPG Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Full time with all benefits
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and maintain high quality software using the ILE RPG programming language
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning to optimize system
- Maintain existing software developed in RPG including providing support for production related issues
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle including building, testing and delivering high quality solutions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an RPG developer with experience developing and maintaining solutions using the following technologies:
- RPG II, ILE, Free
- IBM Db2 Database
- Data Description Specification (DDS)
- Control Language (CL)
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field preferred
- Experience using a version control system
- Significant experience in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Working knowledge of current security protocols and threats
