Requirements
As a Senior Eligibility Program Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Unit Manager by ensuring that child care subsidy applications are reviewed in compliance with the procedures outlined in the Subsidy Operations Manual.
This position requires a collaborative mindset, as the entire unit works together to determine eligibility and provide families with valuable information about quality childcare options. As a Team Leader, you will inspire and promote success by providing leadership, guidance, technical expertise, and encouragement to all team members. Key responsibilities include :
- Providing technical assistance to team members to address inquiries.
- Acting as the primary liaison between team members and the Unit Manager to facilitate effective communication.
- Serving as the primary trainer for team members, ensuring the team understands policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify trends and recurring errors in case processing and provide actionable feedback to the manager to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of eligibility determination
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their professional growth and performance.
- Applying advanced problem-solving skills to quickly and effectively resolve complex cases.
- Troubleshooting and managing escalated or unique cases to ensure resolution.
- Collaborating with the manager to implement team-building initiatives that strengthen group cohesion and morale.
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet departmental goals and evolving needs
