What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Monitor position at PROGRESS HOUSE INC?
Shift Monitors are responsible for the oversight of a designated residential facility from late evening to early morning, or late afternoon to late evening. This shift is performed awake, for eight (8) hours with a paid, one (1) hour lunch and paid one (1) hour break period as you are required to remain on property for the entire shift.
Responsibilities and Duties: (Include, but are not limited to:)

Collaborate with outgoing swing-shift staff to exchange any information regarding the condition and state of facility and clients.
- Read and sign off on shift notes; clarify any questions or concerns

Perform walk-through of facility to check on clients at the start of your shift and every two (2) hours throughout your shift
- Note any activity in shift notes
- Ensure lights are out and all clients are accounted for
- Attend to clients' needs as necessary; enforce program policies as applicable for night activity
- Complete assigned office tasks as directed (e.g., filing, uploading client documents, copying, phones, record-keeping, EMR entries, etc.)
- Clean offices as directed; prepare facility for next working day
- Collaborate with incoming day shift staff; report shift activities, condition and state of facilities and clients
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, CHSPE, GED or equivalent
- Pre-Employment Investigative Background Check and Drug Test is required.
- Progress House, Inc. is a Drug-Free Workplace.
- Post-Hire TB Test is required; a post-hire, pre-employment physical including fitness for duty examination may also be required.
