What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Programs Analyst position at Progress Lighting LLC and Kichler Lighting LLC?
We are seeking to fill a Customer Programs Analyst in either Greenville, SC or Solon, OH (Greater Cleveland Area) for Coleto Brands. This position supports finance and sales leadership teams through the development, management, calculation and execution of sales incentive programs and payments to external parties. Utilizes strong communication skills to foster relationships with peers and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for incentives including but not limited to: Compiling/consolidating submissions, reaching out to and following up with builders, distributors and other external customers to obtain data
- Auditing and validating data points, streamlining processes and creating a centralized database providing insights into KPIs, trends and indicators of strategic success.
- Access, utilize & manage customer sales and customer program commitments and data to develop & maintain effective monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Interpret legal contracts and extract builder program components to create spreadsheets that calculate respective incentives.
- Create a centralized database providing insights into KPIs, trends and indicators of strategic success
- Manage, calculate, submit, and reconcile customer incentive accruals and payments on-time across the Wholesale and Retail channels.
- Identify improvements to rationalize and simplify the monthly, quarterly and annual rebate determination processes.
- Assist with new customer and rep set-ups, channel, marketing tier, commission rates & product classification maintenance in Salesforce
- Assist with onboarding new Reps and Rep Agencies
- Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of industry competitive sales incentive programs
- Perform other related duties necessary to conduct job objectives in an efficient and effective manner
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field Required (Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics)
- Deep financial acumen, including rebates program mechanics, discounts, and pricing strategies
- Demonstrated experience with sales processes and customer contract terms
- Requires 2 years of related data analytics experience, with specific experience in sales, financial and marketing data analysis.
- Strong Proficiency with Excel (data models, pivot tables, complex formulae (including nested formulas), and mathematics)
- Experience with SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Salesforce desirable.
- Outstanding problem solving, analytical, and attention to detail capabilities.
- Demonstrated capability to utilize qualitative and quantitative insights to present results in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Demonstrated capability to develop reports, analyses, and recommendations utilizing inputs from multiple functional areas within the business as well as multiple sources of data.
- Must have the ability to consistently meet critical deadlines and deliver accurate results.
- Demonstrated capability to effectively collaborate and present complex content to business audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a less structured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.
- Certified Public Account (CPA) certification preferred
- Travel requirements 5%
