Job Description: A sales force (SF) candidate that is a self-starter with a passion for exceeding expected sales performance and engaging in entrepreneurship. An Inside Sales representative (ISR) should have 1 – 5 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing. This is an entry-level position providing experience for you to grow into other functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell products and services
- Qualify leads with maximum information to improve sales performance
- Conducting sales calls, pitching, and closing sales
- Understand customer needs
- Seeking new sales leads to qualify
- Maintaining existing customer accounts
- Build relationships with customers
- Negotiate the sales of products even under price challenges
- Continually advance selling skills
- Manage accounts data on CRM system (e.g. Salesforce.com, etc.)
- Territory optimization and categorization of sales potential
- Manage optimal account customer service
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to maximize sales performance
- Encourage and build company culture
- Optimize sales training programs as you grow experience
- Create opportunities through Business Development
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in training sales team(s) is preferred
- Proven inside or outside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quotas or goals
- Strong phone presence
- Experience in dialing 10-24 calls per day
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, other CRM systems, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in presentations, both in-person and virtual
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and drive business with a high sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produce results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Education & Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent, Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship Studies (or a related field), or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- 1-5 years in sales and/or marketing
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-time
Pay/ Compensation: Dependent on experience, $50,000.00 base salary, STI target $50,000.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday primarily, some weekend travel (as needed)
Work Location: Remote work, some travel (<10%), training on-site
