Operates various machines as part of
the production process to produce
parts for the locomotive industry in
accordance with AAR, customer
specifications, company guidelines
and checklists. Perform all duties and
responsibilities in compliance with PR
safety policies
Operate manual machines including
horizontal mills, engine lathes, and manual
grinders to produce
locomotive motor parts and axles
Use precision gauges and instruments
such as micrometers to determine and
follow customers specifications
Maintain specifications by observing,
drilling, grooving and cutting, including
turning, facing, knurling and
thread chasing operations; taking
measurements; detecting malfunctions,
troubleshooting processes,
adjusting and reprogramming controls,
sharpening and replacing worn tools,
adhering to quality assurance
procedures and processes
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Other duties as assigned
Perform all duties and responsibilities
within time standards allowed
*Offering a $2500.00 Sign on Bonus*
