Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating assigned CNC machinery, utilizing preprogrammed computer software to dictate the movement of factory tools and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safe work practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned CNC machinery to manufacture steel parts and rail according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use digital calipers to ensure accuracy and precision
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- CNC multi-axis training and experience preferred
- Minimum 12 months CNC multi-axis machine operator experience preferred
- Ability to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect rail using measuring devices
- Quality oriented and team player
