About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team at Progress Rail. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for preparing and painting locomotives and locomotive components.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding;
- Apply paint and coatings using various methods, including spray and brush;
- Install decals and other finishes as required;
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols;
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field;
- Possession of a valid respirator certification;
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;
- Familiarity with overhead cranes and mobile equipment.
