">Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Freight Car Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Arab, AL facility. In this role, you will work with new and used railroad bearings, inspecting parts and performing assembly line duties to recondition freight car bearings. You will also operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
">Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and assemble railroad bearings ">
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely ">
- Perform quality inspections on components ">
- Read precision instruments and gauges ">
- Use hand tools effectively ">
- Work collaboratively as part of a team ">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A High School education or equivalent ">
- 3-6 months experience as a machine operator or equivalent training ">
- Ability to work 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) or 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) with overtime and weekends required ">
- Strong communication and teamwork skills ">
- Ability to work safely and efficiently ">
