Summary
Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Office Assistant will provide general administrative assistance to the Office Manager and Executive Assistant in the organization's main office. The Office Assistant carries out the mission of Progress Ranch as it pertains to customer service and administrative support functions.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the Office Manager and Executive Assistant.
- Social Media: Manage and update content across the organization’s social media platforms to ensure timely and engaging communication with our audience.
- Document Management: Maintain and organize office files, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy access and proper documentation.
- Office Supplies & Equipment: Assist with inventory management for office supplies and equipment, ensuring that necessary materials are stocked and readily available.
- Office Organization & Tidiness: Ensure the office space is organized, clean, and well-maintained. This includes managing common areas, tidying up the meeting rooms, and ensuring office supplies are neatly stored.
- Event Coordination: Support in planning and staffing office events, meetings, or team-building activities as directed.
- Scanning & Documentation: Scan and organize files for digital storage as directed.
- Running Errands: Assist with errands as needed to support the smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications

- Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma, some college preferred.
- Some experience in customer service is preferred.
- Six months or additional experience in an office or administrative support role preferred.

Knowledge of:
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excell, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Ability to work in stressful, emotional, and confrontational situations
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; compose correspondence independently.
- Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Commit to maintaining HIPPA compliance standards.
- Recognize and respect the limits of authority and responsibility.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Docs
- Ability to pass and be certified in First Aid/CPR
- Ability to pass physical exam, TB Test Screening, and background checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
