This key role involves accurately estimating concrete project costs and managing awarded projects from start to finish. The position requires close collaboration with managers and operational teams to secure new work and ensure quality project completion within budget.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
• 5 years’ experience required in the management and estimation of structural concrete construction.
• Strong knowledge of means and methods, modern day structural formwork systems and equipment
• Proficient utilization of applications in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proficient with On-Screen Takeoff or other relevant applications
• Experienced with accounting and project management concepts
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential/proprietary information
• Proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
• Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to multi-task while focusing on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
